Greetings
1 John 1:2-3:"The life was made manifest, and we saw it, and testify to it, and proclaim to you the eternal life which was with the Father and was made manifest to us; that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.'
The 2012 Church Year has ended, we are already in Advent. We have seen, heard, read, discussed many events, witnessed and proclaim the message of hope justice, peace and reconciliation in many Sunday Services. There are time of despair, discouragement but also time of hope and encouragement. The events in the world had also brought hurt, despair and failures on the other hand brought joy, hope and achievements. Most important fact is that our Lord has always been with us, He revealed to us his mercies and grace in many ways. The mission of the church has continued through many ministries revealing the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father in many instances. I write to you during the advent period, a period of preparation for the coming of our Lord. The season of preparation for Christmas, a festival of the birth of our Lord and a joyful celebration.
We are challenged in our ministries to make life manifest and testify and proclaim the eternal life to our fellow Christians, needy, lonely, suffering, communities around us. We are challenged to come and make known the message of peace, justice and reconciliation to leaders in the world, countries and communities.
The fact remains we have heard and proclaimed the word. In and through the mercy, grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father their glory and fellowship are manifested in a way to us. May God continue to use us to manifest his glory, peace and justice, use us to strengthen and encourage people to hold on Him who is Life, Truth, Way, Shepherd and the Saviour. May we be strengthened to continue having fellowship with God the Father Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour and the Holy Spirit.
Greetings and blessings to you, family and fellow Christians during Advent and Christmas Festival.
Yours
