Orientation in South Africa
June 19-21, 2013 will be spent at the Lakeview Lodge with Dr. Phil Knutson and Pastor Morwaeng Motswasele orienting us to South Africa.
Rev. Motswasele and Dr. Knutson met November 7th to work on the orientation program at Lakeview Airport Lodge:
"We feel it is a good place to stay and meet. We are proposing using the first morning after your arrival for an outing to the Apartheid museum and then swing through Soweto on our way back at the Lakeview Lodge for an afternoon session to reflect on the experience. The next morning we suggest another outing either to the Human Origins Center at Wits University or Constitution Hill which is downtown Johannesburg. We would return to the Lodge for an afternoon session again. (We were thinking about using the Gautrain for the outing on the second day into the city center.) We will both be willing to lead the tours and reflection sessions.
